We tried to get all three of the kids in a pose, but Jacob was too overwhelmed with pumpkins everywhere.
Zachary didn't know what to do with the pumpkins, so I he decided to touch them for himself.
Jacob wanted all the pumpkins for himself. He
kept running around and grabbing all the pumpkins up.
At we got a family photo at the pumpkin patch. Jacob wasn't about to sit still though for more than a few poses. I still think it turned out fine.
Welcome, to The Barker blog spot. Our family is currently living in Mountain Home, ID. Where my husband Marshall is serving for the United States Air Force as a F-15 Crew Chief. We have three kids, and a chesapeake bay retriever whom all have a lot of energy. We live out in the country at the moment, and are adjusting to the new way of country life.

Farm Day
We took a family day out to one our favorite farms. It's called Jimmy's Farm. They added a butterfly house. Marshall had gotten a really good shot of this butterfly. It was so humid in their, my glasses fogged up. Their were so many different kids of butterflies flying around. Their were some really bigs ones as well. They even had a pond in there, with some huge flowers that were taller than us. The kids really enjoyed that. Jacob kept running around trying to catch one for himself.
Zachary and I posed in the woods where they let you build little forts with the dead tree branches. It was too muddy to let the kids play in there for long.
Marshall was letting Jacob get closer to the horses to pet. I don't think Jake actually pet one though.

Water Falls
We went a river that has a water fall in it, and there was great spot for the younger kids to swim in. It was so warm Jacob just loved every minute of it until it was time to go.
Camberley went down into the bigger area to try out the water. She almost got taken away by the current. This summer was her first swimming experiences. She loved swimming.

Marshall's homecoming
This is the day that Marshall came home from Afghanistan. They had to come to this hangar on buses, and Marshall was on the fourth bus that came through. I was tears because I was sooo overwhelmed. It took Jacob a few seconds to realize who Marshall was, and Zachary just smiled because that's what he does. Camberley got to stay home from school that morning. Their flight actually came in a little early. It was such a great day for our family to finally have Marshall home from the desert.
